The following is a diary from resa on Daily Kos, about the demonstrations going on in St. Paul during the Republican Convention. It’s pretty astounding. There have been over 175 people arrested including 30+ journalists. One of those is Amy Goodman from Democracy Now! Read on:

I know that this diary may not get much attention but I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t make the effort to remind people that this situation is still taking place. If I got you to look, I am pretty sure that I can speak for many people sitting in prison right now, “Thank you". Some of them have been suffering from untreated 1st degree burns resulting from the use of pepper spray.

Worth every minute and then some.. I enjoyed William McDonough’s intelligence, vision, and humor. I believe you will too. He is addressing real design solutions that is more then than just recycling.
