Katrina is leaving a lingering effect like a poisonous perfume…
Thousands are estimated to be dead and others are dieing because of the horrid, humid conditions… One article I read said there was a three foot shark seen swimming through the streets… So survivors have to dodge aquatic predators, as well as all the unseen debris and sewage floating in the waters.. What is worse is that many of these people are literally trapped…They have been told to get out, but the roads and airports are underwater… Needed are dozens of boats that can go from house to house to provide transport out…
God help them all and God bless everyone who is helping…

At least not clothes bearing any protest messages. It’s been known for sometime that security is touchy about people expressing dissent against the President. The people who encircle him at public speaking events are hand picked to be supper supporters. Obvious protesters are relegated to “free speech zones” , out of sight and hear shot of the President.

Karl Rove is a man known by some other names, and not all of them smell so sweet. He is described in the title of a documentary as {1} Bush’s Brain by Joseph Mealey and Michael Paradies Shoob. He has been called by his benefactor, George Bush, the cliche’ “Boy Genius” and the more creative"Turd Blossom” (hence TB ), reported by Time magazine in April, 2001{2}. Whatever inspired such a strangely repellent pet name is probably known only by a select few individuals. It’s likely too, that the man who spreads nasty innuendos about opponents and dissidents on a regular basis, was none too happy about TB spreading through the press as his designation. It’s one of those kinds of leaks that some people will chuckle at and other’s frown, but all will wonder, how did he earn such an appellation? Perhaps it is a talent for taking what stinks, and making it smell like a rose, and visa versa.
